when the owners bought up all the stations
they laid off the locals and used the towers for their feed
they dressed up some fake gangsters and cowboys
fired up the corporate imitation music machine

when we had finally had enough
we bought back all the stations and set em' free
we hired back all of the local folks
gave the radio back to each community
